The River Grove Lions Club, in conjunction with the Village of River Grove, is hosting the Annual Community Shred Day on:
Saturday, June 13, 20268:00 AM to Noon

American Legion Recreation Center

8664 Grand Avenue, River Grove, Illinois

What You Can Bring:

• Shred Sensitive Papers – Limit of three (3) banker boxes or laundry baskets per local residence or business
• Recycle Electronics – Any and all electronics accepted
• Recycle Eyeglasses & Hearing Aids – Collected by River Grove Lions Club
• American Flags – Proper disposal by American Legion Post 335
• Used Tires – Collected by RG Public Works
• Helping Hands Clothing Drive – Drop off gently used clothing and shoes (see detailed list below)

Additional Services On-Site:

• RG Police Department: Identity theft prevention information and fraud questions
• RG Public Works & Flood Brothers: Waste disposal and recycling guidance
• Cook County Department of Environmental Control: Disposal of prescription and OTC drugs, thermometers, and inhalersNote: DEA controlled substances, needles, syringes, or infectious medical waste cannot be accepted.
